Five years before he became one of the most exciting rising stars in the chill electronica space, a blood cancer diagnosis in his senior year of high school made Boston-based producer & songwriter Ben Lepper unsure of how much time he had left. But, what he was sure of was that life was too short for him to not make the music he loved to listen to. He switched out gritty and energetic basslines for uplifting progressions and beautiful ambiences and built the Cloudcage project from the ground up, inspired by the feeling of staying positive while everything falls apart.

Cloudcage experienced the biggest year of his career in 2024, with millions of streams across all platforms, four separate additions to the SiriusXM Chill rotation (including a #1 record with Before I Sleep) and another to Capital Chill, and his debut live show in Cambridge, MA, which sold out months in advance. His work has garnered the support of industry titans such as BT, Mees Salomé, Chicane, Tritonal, Jerro, Shingo Nakamura, and ATTLAS.
