Finnish producer Tommy Baynen has delivered a host of mesmeric releases to the label over the past few years, and now he returns with a fresh two-tracker. Baynen conjures a wistful ambience on the EP's opening track 'Inflorescence' where rippling melodies and ethereal vocal samples stream alongside a softly chugging beat. Meanwhile 'Reconstructions' shifts gears with a sweet-and-sour groove featuring deep breaks and delectable prog house builds. Swelling arps, perky hi-hats, and a glittering synth leads rise and fall in perfect union, resetting mind, body and soul.
