Following last year's exquisite album, 'ghost whispers', silvershore returns to Enhanced Chill with 'happier - part one', a gorgeous four-track EP showcasing the Bristol-based producer's indie dance expertise. The captivating opener, 'want me', is a confection of intricate guitar riffs, shimmering synth and a skippy beat that's perfect for sun-kissed days. 'healing' continues silvershore's sunlit journey; deftly blending chameleonic vocals, complex synth layers and a hold-me-tight groove hugged by lilting violin riffs. Next up, 'rescue me' shifts gears with its tropical sonic palette; lush string melodies, crunchy chord progressions and a zippy vocal refrain find perfect harmony in this breezy bop. Rounding out the EP, 'about you' bottles nostalgia with its bittersweet tone and poignant lyrics. If music is the language of the spirit, this is an EP to get lost in.
